The May Luncheon Event
Please join the Camas-Washougal Chamber of Commerce at the Thursday, May 16th, Luncheon event at the Fairgate Inn. Doors open at 11:30am for networking, with the program beginning at noon. We welcome Paul Dennis, Camas/Washougal Economic Development Association President/CEO as the keynote speaker at this event. The mission of Camas-Washougal Economic Development Association (CWEDA) is to help retain and expand existing companies as well as bring new businesses to the community.
Mr. Dennis has been involved in contacting a variety of companies that are interested in movingto or expanding within the local area. During a recent performance measure assessment presentation to the Washougal City Council, Eric Hovee said of 37 contacts in 2012, seven projects are complete. They include the relocation of CID Bioscience from the Camas Meadows area to the former American Legion building near downtown Camas. Other completed projects include Fastenal, Fisher II, Robertson & Olsen, Sapphire Materials, Sharp Solar and Universal Jiu Jitsu.
